Looking for a Mechanical/materials Engineer, with at least a master’s degree, who is a recent graduate/ or not, interested in research, and willing to live in Qatar for the next 3 years.  An MS or Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, materials science, or engineering mechanics would be ideal.

The pay is about $43,000/year with housing and allowance and other benefits available.

The work involves materials testing at high temperatures; microscopy and image analysis; and modeling the behavior using finite element analysis (may require writing some code to embed in commercial software). The work will include interaction with researchers in the USA and the ability to generate quality research publications.
